First, here's the things I liked about this kit: It fun for me to work on, because it was basically easy to use and didn't take too much time to add the studs and jewels to a couple of the smaller bracelets. There is a good variety in the shapes and sizes of the studs. The things I didn't like: As some of the other comments said, the bracelets are definitely sized to fit younger girls or maybe teens with very thin wrists. (I bought a second kit for my 14 year old niece, who they will probably fit.) Getting all the prongs to fold towards the center meant the placement had to be just right, and a fair amount of force was needed to bend them sufficiently so they weren't going to just fall off the first time the bracelet was worn. Because of this, and because the tools that it comes with are very cheap plastic, a couple of the setter pieces for the studs broke the first time I tried to use it. I definitely understand why this was on clearance.
