I bought a $10 gift card and tried to buy a $11 book. Well googles system only allows you to use the $10 gift card for a $10 product or less. So for example, you want a book that costs $10.25 you CAN't use the gift card along with paying $.25. Your only option will be to pay for the book at $10.25. None of the $10 applies. I contacted google and they said this is how they work so be careful with these. I've used apple and amazon and they ALWAYS apply the gift card balance together with the balance of a purchase. Very strange
Bought this for my wife to use with the new tablet I bought her for Christmas so she could "buy" whatever she wanted for her use. Great gift and will go a long way....
My husband has been saving to get the Nexus 10 and this gift card is what I used my Christmas money on to get him. Yes, it is my fault for not looking up the terms for the Google Play gift card but I feel like since devices are such a big deal that saying that you can't use the gift card towards their purchase is something that should be in bold. At least so that people like me who don't know much about computer type stuff don't end up spending $50 on a gift card we can't use and can't return. Make sure you read the terms before you waste $50. Thanks a bunch Google.
