So I've owned Trek's and Specialized Brands so far and this bike is in the same class of quality. I've also bought other low cost bikes at walmart and they didn't seem nearly as nice as this one. This is my first Fixie (Single gear style) and I truly like the simplicity of it. It's very quiet and although it is a bit harder to get started, it cruises at a comfortable speed. I am 6'2" 200lbs and the bike fits me fine. It's as fast as my others. It rides smooth and breaks work fine. I purchased mine at the Walmart store so I could see that all parts and overall condition of the bike before I bought it. I am not sure of the difference between the lower priced fixie model versus this more expensive Phixie version, but I liked the Black/White colors so it's all good. I did notice that this bike has a second rear sprocket that is most likely used for adding an electric motor, of which I may consider. I haven't owned it for very long, so I can't comment on how long it will last, but being a fixie style, there are far less parts to mess up. I would certainly buy this again and think you will like it as well. As long as you keep your bike in the garage, they tend to last as long as you're into them. PS.. the chain guard really does help if you plan to use this as a commuter bike.

I've owned this bike for a few weeks and have mixed feelings about it, but mostly positive. I received mine in the box, which is the way I wanted. Pulled the parts from the box with no problems. the packaging was well done and secure. The paint and parts look great. I had no problems putting it together with basic tools: adjustable wrench, allen wrench, and phillips screwdirver. The rims are slightly off true but nothing noticeable while riding. The brakes are solid and not spongy at all but remember to adjust the brake pads to properly contact the rim on front and back. The ride is smooth comfortable. I don't hear any vibrations or noises while riding over bumpy roads except for the chain guard occasionally. I just put a piece of Velcro above the chain to deaden the sound, quick fix. Also, one of the peddles was clicking. Found out the peddle spindle was slightly bent but not un-rideable just annoying. So now that I'm happy with what I have directly from the store. Here's what I did. Replaced the peddles with larger ones, took off the chaingaurd, removed the sprocket guard, changed the handlbars and stem with a lighter set, and replaced the fat tires with small road bike tires, makes a big difference in speed. I also striped the decals off to give it a clean look, use Goo-Off to get the sticky residue off the frame. With my changes made I really love riding this bike around town. Now it's a clean lean riding machine.

I am not happy with the two colors of blue on my bicycle and further more it does not have quick release hubs or breaks. The freewheel is stiff even after adjusting. I have gone to several bicycle shops in the area and there is a limited product available to personalize the 700cc model. The is a bicycle for the person who rides randomly.
