This is a Really Good Seat only to be used by responsible adults who actually watch their little ones in it. It has changed since the one I used three years ago. I liked the original one the best, it didn't have a belt and the seat and leg holes were slightly bigger than this one. They've added a seatbelt because of people not watching their little ones in it, especially on table tops. Yes at 5 or 6 months old a larger baby can push off with their feet or lean over possibly flipping the chair, but not if your really keeping an eye on them. The belt is a pain. I use this seat daily for feedings and for keeping baby close by while she is playing with toys on the tray. The Tray is a must have too. My granddaughter is a little chunky. To get her out of it, you kind of have to push her legs up and out of the narrow opening at the top of the leg holes, before lifting her out. She's 8 months old now and 20 pounds and overall still fits fine in it.
