It seems I had read comments about taking care to follow package directions to ensure good adhesion, but the only instructions I could find on the inside of the roll only told how to cut, peel and stick. So, here is what I did in case it can help someone else. I used this for front door window panes that I had just stained and varnished. I scraped the glass to remove any finishes and then cleaned with window cleaner, cut to size and adhered. Worked like a charm. Stuck very well yet easy enough to reposition while installing. I used a credit card as I peeled the paper off to smooth once I got it set where I wanted it at the top. Looks GREAT on my newly finished door. The ONLY small complaint I have is that I had wanted something I could see a little bit through, and this does not allow me to see people on the other side of the door, but the product itself deserves the excellent rating. I put it up yesterday, so we'll see how it stands the test of time, and if I see anything concerning, I'll post back here. Good luck!!
