I like the phone

I upgraded from a Blackberry Curve to the EVO HTC 4G LTE 5 months ago. I like the HCT large screen, voice commands, the great swype function, many apps and quicker response time. It takes outstanding photos and videos if there is not allot of fast action. The volume level could be better. I end up using the speaker function allot. The English/Spanish button can throw off texting if you don't realize you triggered the language button. There is no battery so the 'remove battery reset' we have grown accustomed to isn't an option. Either turn it off, reset the phone or take it in for a fix. There are 7 horizontal screens where one can customize app access making it quicker to maneuver to multiple resources. Since it's new, it takes the techs a few minutes to get to know the phone when working on it. Use Gmail or Outlook to save contacts. A down side is the emails have to be deleted one-by-one. I stopped trying to keep up with them. The voice mail to text function is handy when it records the correct spoken words. That may be due to a bad connection or the speaker's pronunciation. Saves time listening to messages that can wait or be discarded. Voice recorder a plus. The LTE in the name separates this from a plain EVO HCT 4G. Still waiting for the 4G tower access. I am delighted to have the HCT because it is a huge upgrade in technology for me. It meets both personal and business needs.
