Let me start by saying that I have always used real trees... and not only do I always buy real trees, but I am the chick that spends hours looking at every tree on the lot, before driving somewhere else to look at every tree on THAT lot. Needless to say, I was VERY apprehensive about ordering an artificial Christmas tree. But based on reviews, (and knowing I could easily return it to my local Walmart), I decided to take a chance and ordered this Holiday Time Pre-lit Kennedy Fir. The tree went up very quickly, and I spent around 1 hour arranging the branch tips. I am totally satisfied with this tree, considering I only paid a hundred bucks for it. It looks real. (I can't see the pole, and I haven't even added ornaments yet.) The only negative is that the tree is a too skinny. It needs to be at least a foot wider at the base. If you don't have much space, then this tree will be PERFECT for you. Although the tree is a little slim, I still plan on keeping it. In a few years I'll move this tree into another room and replace it with something that is more full. For now we have to cut back on our spending, and $100 per year on a fresh tree (or $300 for a premium artificial tree) isn't in the budget. This tree will suit our needs, for now.
**worth noting- after I ordered this tree online I saw it on display at my local Walmart. It looked HORRIBLE. It took everything in me to keep an open mind as I set up my tree at home. And I certainly am glad I didn't just return it on the spot. With a little time, the tree fills in nicely and looks very lifelike.
