My daughter asked for this for her 11th birthday. She and her friends had fun doing the tasks on each page with the intent of destroying the book. There are a few things in the book that we've had to change a little in order for her to do the task. (Example) tie a string around the spine of the book , fling the book around while holding the string allowing the book to hit against the walls. We allowed her to do this in a tent, not on my homes walls. Other than that the book seems pretty harmless. It occupies the kids and the only thing getting destroyed is the book, and that's what it's for. I suggest having your child ask permission before completing a task, just to make sure you are ok with whatever the book says to do. My daughter did end up with a cheesy nacho within two pages, which I made her take out and wipe the pages before letting the book back in her room. The book did not ask for a cheesy nacho specifically, but that's what was near her, so be aware kids will take tasks literally. Although, I do not regret buying her this book, it's for fun.
