The quick release makes my life much easier. I wish I had purchased it before having to remove the motor two times earlier while the pontoon boat was in the water. The bottom holes of the Q/R bracket lined up with the old holes of the motor which made installation even simpler. The only suggestion to Minn Kota would be to make the padlock hole big enough for a full sized padlock.
Walmart service was excellent. Got the item when promised. It's always good to know one can get easy returns if necessary.
Works great, looks great and heavy duty. Easy to install also.
Timing of availability for store pick-up was excellent.
Works well, simple to install, sturdy, removes easily. Have one on my Terrova motor and the other my anchor winch. Even with the lock washer, the finger screw that holds tight tends to loosen sometimes and falls out. I like that you can lock it to secure it, and no worries if the finger screw does drop out.
Easy to mount item and install.

very Good product
A great product at a great price!
Well made, easy to mount. Holds trolling motor securely to boat. Has small holes in both plates for optional padlock security.
I am a big fan of this product and I have put it on three other boats that I have had. It is built very well and allows me to remove it to cover the boat or remove it and store it somewhere safe if I am in an area that is not real secure. I would not install a trolling motor without it.
This bracket was what I wanted. I have to store my boat in a public storage and being able to remove my trolling motor with 1 screw was exactly what I was looking for. It bolted right to where my existing motor was so I didn't have to measure or do anything other than bolt it to the deck.
Took no time to install. The plates have a somwhat loose fit, so it would rattle as the boat is moving. It would be nice if both plates have a snug/tight fit. A rubber door stopper jammed between the gap did the trick though.
Not a bad mount, but needs to be modified. It only has the one bolt holding the two plates together. This makes one side tight, while the other has a little bit of play. I'm going to tap it out and put a bolt in the other side to solve that problem. Also, the hole for the lock is small. I'm going to drill it out a little bigger. Should work good after that.
