Good value, not for gaming.
Good for web browsing, such as reading news, social media, YouTube, etc. Very good for office work Word, Excel, etc. I personally prefer LibreOffice - works great. Keyboard is better than my other HP laptop. No so good to play heavy games or edit video - you need something more powerful. And a little extra: the webcam has a built-in cover to keep your privacy hacker proof. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Amazing value and aesthetic
For the price point this laptop achieves quite a lot. It's fast & responsive, and allows you to do some light gaming comfortably. I'm able to play competitive games like Valorant at moderately high to medium settings at 60 FPS and overwatch at 60 FPS low settings w/ rendering at 75%. I can also play Lara croft tomb raider and fallout new vegas at max settings at around 40-60 FPS. This laptop fits in any setting due to its sleek and refined design, the frame and chassis is made of plastic which lowers the build quality but its understandable at the given price. One thing I would like to be improved upon is having an actual sata cable and bracket in the drive bay, if you want to upgrade this laptop with a spare hard drive you can't do so directly because there is no provided cable to connect the laptop to with your hard drive. All in all I think Lenovo gave us a pretty decent laptop for the price, it hits the mark on what most people look for in a laptop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best laptop I've ever had!
Very good laptop! It's fast and beautiful and it does everything I need it to do! Not to mention the amount of storage is sooo amazing. If you're looking for a laptop for school work, work, youtube videos, etc. This laptop can do it all, at the same time. The only thing I don't like that much is the battery life. It doesn't last as long as some other computers I've had in the past but it charges SUPER fast and that definitely makes up for it! I strongly recommend this laptop!!! Great specs, perfect size, & quick load time!
The Lenovo IdeaPad 3 is slim, sleek, keyboard is smooth with easy to type keys & a number pad which is essential for my work & school projects! At 15" it is the perfect size for transport, fitting in my work bag perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Perfect for the average person
Perfect workstation for the regular person. If you're in need of something that can literally do everything a college student or regular business person would need then this would be the laptop for you. Durable, lightweight and fast is something I appreciate out of this machine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
No Buyer's Remorse - Solid Purchase
Pretty decent in comparison to more expensive laptops. No issues so far and haven't seen something out that I wish I had purchased instead. I rated this 4 out of 5 stars, removing one star for not having a back-lit keyboard that is centered to the left side of the keyboard to allow for the numerical adding keys on the right. Checks All The Right Boxes
This is my first personal laptop. I've had the opportunity to borrow a Dell Latitude before and this laptop is able to compete with it despite being a third of its price. I went through extensive research in order to find a competent computer and this checks all the boxes. It is able to load up all programs fast thanks to the SSD (which replaces old hard drives) and has one of the highest benched processors. It has an SD card reader to expand storage easily with out disassembling the product and has a pretty bright screen. The only sacrifices made is the webcam which is almost unusable. Nevertheless, you can buy a decent webcam for less than twenty dollars. This Laptop is a great bargain. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My Experience using Lenovo
It’s my first time to have and use Lenovo brand. At first I was bit confused to choose Lenovo brand because never tried before but now using it more then a week already and really love all the features inside. I like it’s super slim body. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The laptop is great for low level gaming. I was disappointed to see only one ram slot, and the base cover should have more vents. Screens fine, keyboards fine. I think that it’s a little expensive for the amount of storage and ram. I like it. It might be my WiFi but I usually get around 3000 ping on Roblox FPS .games. Not too shabby fot the price
So far I'm fairly satisfied. I purchased the laptop for school/gaming. I don't like that Microsoft tries to force you to only use their products unless you take it out of "S" mode & even then Microsoft tries to weasley it's way into your files & info. I'm not a fan of invasion of privacy (if that even exists anymore). Runs good though, I can run anime & games plus schools work simultaneously with no problem. My kids & I play Fortnite with it & it runs smooth. I also like the Xbox feature during gaming that allows me to monitor every aspect of the system while playing. Battery life is subpar to say the least but it isn't the worst I've encountered. I'm happy given the $300 (+tax) pricetag. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Perfect Budget Laptop w/ A Few Compromises
I am always hesitant to buy a laptop that is considered a "budget laptop", but I have to say, this laptop has exceeded my expectations! Priced for just under $400, the IdeaPad 3 15" is a superb deal for someone needing a laptop on a very tight budget. While there is nothing visually stunning or exciting about this laptop, it does have some nice touches... -1TB hard drive is very nice and spacious. -8GB RAM will keep things running nice and smooth -Intel Core 10th Gen i3 @1.20GHz is snappy and has hardly zero lag time -Quick boot/load time -Win 10 is snappy, up-to-date -Generous/spacious keyboard with number pad -Trackpad is perfectly placed -Privacy shutter for webcam is a godsend. -3 USB ports w/HDMI and MicroSD card. Despite the many pros about this laptop, there are a few cons... With it being a "budget laptop" that is to be expected. Such as: -Lack of a backlit keyboard -Screen display is dull and boring, even with bright setting to full -Battery life (even on battery saver) is terrible -Plastic body feels cheap and easy to break. I mean, there are far more pros than cons. So far, I am very pleased with this laptop. I've had it for about 15-16 days now, and I must say, I like it. I have had zero issues with it. Wins 10 stays up to date, and updates with no issues. I haven't had any noticeable lag when running multiple tabs in Chrome while running other programs. I would highly recommend it to anyone! Excellent computer at an excellent price.,
Much cheaper than other computers with similar memory and processing speed. It works great and makes my life a lot easier having replaced my old laptop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
A Grand Idea
The lenova idea Pad 3 is a good starter laptop for people who are looking for a cheap option that runs most things decently, not good for someone looking for a serious gaming laptop, obviously. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
