I purchased this headboard for my daughter. The headboard is nice looking but the screws that came with it were too small. I had to purchased bigger screws.
It looks great and was easy to assemble. Buyer beware that you get what you pay for. I would not buy this for a childs bed because it might get easily broken. Overall its a nice headboard.
I had about 1 inch to spare between the bed and the wall and this headboard fit perfectly. No damage on arrival, which was earlier than expected, a nice surprise, Good quality and clean lines.
You get what you pay for, and this is a cheap headboard. Its particle board, that has a thin layer of black on one side. Its not laminate, because it scratched easily. You have to assemble the headboard, including putting on the side and top trims, and attaching the legs. We have a standard twin bed frame, and the legs on the headboard were too far apart for screwing the frame to the headboard, so my husband drilled new holes to attach the frame. And now the feet don't touch the ground, because he had to attach the frame to the bottom edge of the headboard, not the legs. It should be fine though, its not like you do anything with it. It just sits there. And after using magic marker to fill in a couple of scratches, it looks fine. If you want a quality piece of furniture, spend more money and buy something else. My teenage son thinks it fine, and after he goes off to college we'll get rid of it.
This headboard is particle board covered in cheap laminate. The bare particle board is exposed in a few areas in the back/side and is visible when you look at from the side.
Pressed Board and flimsy.
The initial picture of the headboard is wash-out to the point - there is no detail to the plain, looking twin headboard.
The headboard measuresments don't accurately state that you need exactly "44" inches across the whole length of the headboard in order for it to to connect to the bed frame. the bed frame connects to the headboard at 39 inches which would have been allright for us to use the headboard instead of returning it back to Walmart. If you have two twin beds you need more room space.
We wanted a plain, white headboard measuring 39 inches or less in length.
