I've used this bag a few times, and only bought it a month ago - not long enough to rate the durability.
However; I looked at MANY different tackle bags in this price/size range before I settled on the Conquer 370.
After I picked it up (S to S), the first thing I checked were the zippers - these are heavy duty and smooth.
There's a large compartment at each end (one is already loaded with plastic pouches for soft baits), several zippered pockets throughout for flat items like wallets, keys, maps, and three stitched pockets for Pliers, Hemo's, etc.
It has a nicely laid out top compartment - padded, with enough space (and padded spacers) to make three 4"x 6" x 1-1/2" (approx) compartments that are easily accessible from under the zippered cover - which also has a convenient zippered hard-shell sunglasses case on top.
It comes with 3 front-loaded 3700 size boxes, with room for a fourth, smaller box.
Haven't tested it yet, but it seems like the top and sides will be water resistant - the bottom is reinforced, though not the new molded plastic shell style.
So far, it seems a very good value for a quality bag.
quality bag with low low price. it took a few days longer than i expected. but it worth.
I had to replace my tackle box that broke at the last minute before a boat trip. Finding on sale for $36 was a great save! The front access makes it great for getting into when stowed on the shelves of a fishing boat, and the soft construction allows it to squish into tight places. The three large trays provide lots of storage, and buying a couple extra allows me to swap trays of different types of tackle in and out depending on the type of fishing I'll be doing (rock cod, tuna, etc). The top compartment storage isn't as spacious as I would have liked, and stacking packets of hooks and spools of leader there can get messy, but for a front-access bag at less than half the price of the other options out there, this is a great deal!
