Don't get me wrong, this is my first flat screen TV ever, so I like it much better than the big box televisions. However the product didn't have the features advertised. On the box, and on Walmart's website, it says that this television has a contrast ratio of 200,000:1 and is 720p. However, when you look through the manual for this television, it says that the contrast is 5,000:1 and that it supports 1080p. So which one is it? There is not that many settings in the menu for adjustments, and the sound is horrible. I have to turn it all the way up to at least 75 or 80 to hear it during the movie. Definitely needs a surround sound attached to get some enjoyment out of it. For the money, I guess it isn't too bad. I thought that it was a great deal for the contrast ratio, but not sure now that it says 5,000:1 in the manual. The DVD player works great though. Just confusing as to what the specs really are on this TV.
