I bought two of these P205/70R15 for front of my S-10 pick-up. Liked them So Well, I bought two more (In a wider 65 series) just so all would match. (Was able to sell my used Uniroyal's) The Goodyear tires DID have a thinner sidewall on them than the Uniroyal's did, but I heard that this is where the softer ride comes from. With my 2.2 motor, I was able to spin (just a bit) the P235/60R15 Uniroyal's ever since new. These Goodyear's have enough grip, that I can not spin the 215/65R15 while taking off from a stop on blacktop. I feel sure I will get a dependable 50,000 miles plus with them. MOST OF ALL, THE SHIPPING INFO SAID TIRES WERE MADE IN TEXAS USA AND SHIPPED TO ME HERE IN NEW MEXICO FROM A COLORADO DISTRIBUTION CENTER. A Great name tire from the best ever country all for about $60.00 - $80.00 each. A REAL DEAL!
FYI: My USA Made Uniroyals were 4 years old and went almost 60,000 miles without any rotation.
FYI: Goodyear will NOT service this tire as the VIVA2 is made and sold ONLY for Walmart.
Purchased 2 new front tires for my 98 Buick in 2010. Had Wal-Mart mount and balance them and I added the lifetime balance/road hazard. Had a slight vibration at 60+ MPH from the start but had to drive the car... Then it started getting worse. Until driving at parking lot speeds caused the frond end to wobble slightly and speeds above 60MPH are unbearable. Returned to Wal-Mart to have re-balanced. One had a very noticeable "shift" in the tread due to a shifted belt. Had replaced under the road hazard (and $10) and went on my way. Seems that the drivers side is now acting up and the other tire is starting to shake at speed now too.. Upon reading google for Viva2, it seems that this is NOT a long-term tire. Will NOT be replacing with Viva2s again. Spend the extra $10 and find another tire. Seriously. Unless you are in a financial bind. Has a 1 ply sidewall and 3 ply tread. Always looks flat too due to the wimpy sidewall.
The tread wear warranty says 60,000 miles, did not even last half that , and they are not that comfortable, I notice vibration at highway speed, I replace mine twice, now I will switch to a different kind
