Tastes great with no aftertaste. It's better for my teeth than sugar.
I have been using this for years. It tastes just like sugar with no aftertaste. Since it has antibacterial properities, my husband will hold some of it in his mouth if he feels a sore throat coming on. The only problem with it, is that it does not dissolve in cold water. I make a syrup out of it using hot water and xylitol 2:1 , When it has cooled, I use the syrup to sweeten my ice tea.
This is the only sweetener my wife likes (and that's pretty important!
Better than Sugar
I like Xylosweet Xylitol better then sugar and it helps fight tooth decay to glad I bought it.
I used it to sweeten iced tea. Couldn't tell it was sweetener. Tastes like sugar.
Using this sugar as part of a mouthwash mix. Seems to be fine.
Safe for diabetics
Just as sweet as sugar. No after taste, Doesn't use insulin to metabolize (safe for diabetics). Been using it for years. Give as gift to people I care about. Google it and you'll be amazed.
First dose may cause diarrhea.
I got diarrhea the first day I used this product as a sweetener for my coffee. I looked it up and indeed it does affect some people like this. I'm used to using stevia to sweeten my coffee. Xylitol is definitely not as sweet as stevia. This xylitol is made in China.
Not sure why everyone raves about this stuff..
There IS a bit of an aftertaste, like when you swallow aspirin wrong. Sweet initially, but strangely heavy in the stomach afterwards. Felt like I needed a nap after consumption. Weird
More like stevia sugar
The type I always used was sold out, and it was such a wrong decision... this brand is like powder and has a sense of bitter taste similar as stevia sugar. Not recommended.
good tasting sugar
I like this substitute sugar a lot! It tastes like sugar and helps with my sugar issue!
Blended together with erithrytol and a little stevia this makes a great THM blend
