Ok, same as everyone else, not a great shredder! I say that, even though it can shred, but their advertisement/claims are very inaccurate. So, if I read these other comments before purchasing, no I wouldn't have purchased this model. I purchased in-store, I only need it for my house, shredding occasional important stuff. However right now, I have a huge pile of papers this being my very first shredder ever. This WILL NOT handle 6 pages, nor 5 or 4 or 3, 2 pages at the MOST and yes, that pushes it's limit before getting jammed. The slot is exactly the width of a normal sheet of paper, so you just make sure you get in there evenly, not at an angle, or forget it. The wastebasket does get full very quickly, so if you're using it for a big job, dump it out extremely quickly to save yourself from more jamming headache. It will NOT take 72 shredded pages before it's full, that's not accurate either! This thing only works under 10 minutes before it over heats and stops. Then you have to wait about an hour for it to turn on again. If I was shredding one thing at a time, here and there it would probably be alright. So I will keep it for that, as that is my true intention for it's use. Shredded two plastic old ID cards (one at a time )I had just fine. If you want to buy an inexpensive, small shredder, and are looking to only use it for one or two papers at one use, then go ahead and purchase this shredder, it will do that job just fine. I hit "RECOMMEND" only for the EXTREME LIGHT DUTY work it WILL do. I do not suggest this for anything more than one page at one sitting/use! PS-I don't know about your view of the site, ,but for some reason I'm seeing this priced at over $100, it must be an website error or something, because you purchase it in-store for like $20!
