My son got this Robo Bug for his 8th birthday. He and I put it together, we worked as a team. The instructions aren't wonderful but you get the point. The white peices that you use to fasten the bug together don't all fit as tightly as they should, so we added glue into the holes to make it more permenant. The end product was pretty neat as my son is really big into the whole hexbug thing. So basically you are building your own larger hexbug so to speak.
This Robo Bug works of 2 AAA batteries. Don't use cheap batteries though, it will only work for about 30 seconds on cheapo's. We installed better batteries and off it went.
Pretty cool idea for a kiddos who is into real bugs and hexbugs.
My son was pretty proud of this and even took it into school for his share!!! :)
