Very nice and easy to put together. Brought for my Mother.
I bought it for my dad that has Parkinsons. As a roller is great as a wheelchair is practical but not ideal for long distances. It folds easily but I still have not found the way to keep it compact (I still have to find a video to see what I'mdoing wrong). A bit heavier than I expected. But overall i find it's very worth the money paid.
I bought this for my 92 year old mom, who has taken long daily walks forever, and is only now getting tired more easily. When we use her current stroller (not this one), I find we walk too far for her, and then have the difficult journey back to the car when she is completely exhausted. It's hard to tell how far to walk with her, since she loves being outdoors and walking a lot and she basically overdoes it. This Hugo Navigator is the perfect item for her. I researched a lot of them, and found this one by accident. The reviews were spot on, and although $275, it is well worth it. The blend of stroller and wheelchair is perfect for my mom. She can stroll as far as she wants, and know that she can admit to being tired, and I can then push her in the same thing for the rest of the way. The only real conversion is taking on/off the wheelchair leg supports, that can neatly fit in the under seat bag. The wheels on this are bigger than her current stroller (Rollator?) and it moves more easily on the sidewalks and on the streets (she likes to walk in my neighborhood). Comes partially assembled and the rest was a breeze. Very, very satisfied with this purchase and my mom likes it too. When she gets more disabled, it will be a blessing to already have the wheelchair concept available and familiar to her.
My mom is very happy with her walker and so are we. It is a lil bigger than her previous one but it just took some adjusting. We love the fact that when she gets tired we can add the leg rests and use it as a wheelchair. We used to have her lift her legs while sitting down and we'd push her. So we are all happy. Plus it folds away much easier than her old one. I recommend this walker for anyone who is sometimes running late and can't wait for your mom (or anyone) to take their time walking. It's pretty awesome!
This is a great walker, transport chair but only if the user will have a nurse/helper with them to assist with the folding, unfolding and lifting into the car. The walker does not fold easily (4 steps to fold) and it is heavy for an older or injured person to lift into a car. Do not buy if the user is not strong.
