2k Games Is really has their act together and the Borderlands series is the total package.
This game is kid friendly. No suggestive scenes that you have to cover the ears or eyes. Which is a plus +.
I'm 28 and my son is five. So there is a vast generation gap. I grew up on Doom and Diablo, he is obsessed with Minecraft and Five Nights At Freddy's. Which I constantly here about. I do as much as I can to spend time and bond with my son and perhaps help him forget his taste in games. Not very interested in the younger generations taste in games. So i try and introduce a game with flair to my son.
I like Co-Op games that my wife and I can play with our son on the weekends. This game has everything. Freedom to roam, different character personalities. But the rockets and robots are what really interest my son. The flashy colors, the well drawn colors, the fact there is never a stale scene or a dull moment. There is something always going on in every corner of the screen in a fire fight. Huge bosses that take up the entire screen. I can jack up the difficulty for my wife and I when we choose, and when our son plays, drop it down to his level.
The art, cell shading, attention to detail, the enviornment, the planet, the landscape, new creatures, and tough bosses. I really liked the first Borderlands, it's a classic. Borderlands 2 does the franchise justice. I plan on Purchasing The Pre-Sequel in the future.
