I tried to contact Swann to inquire where to buy general replacement parts, there's no support at all on their website and they didn't even bother to reply to my e-mail, I guess they designed this helicopter as a fly and throw away if it needs parts. Would be all 5's except the lack of support, maybe Walmart can get some answers from Swann about the replacement parts!!!!!
Worked adequately for about a week, then stopped. No crashes or hard landings. Even when "working" remote seemed to have sketchy contacts. In other words, it seemed to have inconsistent dead spots, maybe from inadequate QC during the manufacturing process.
Sent email to manufacturers, and got back automated response.
"Unfortunately due to high demand we are experiencing delays with replies to e-mail support queries. We currently anticipate a response turn-around of between 1-5 working days. We are adding more staff to cater for the increased demand and you question will be answered in due course."
It's now been 11 days, and NO response AT ALL.
Swann seems to be a video camera company with a helicopter hobby.
Website is set up to sell helicopters, but not support them.
It's going back to Wal-Mart tomorrow.
Sadly, not recommended.
