The blender has a 2 year warranty. It broke before the end of the first year. Started making grinding sounds and stopped blending. We called to get the part (blade assembly) and after waiting 3 weeks, we received the wrong part. Called again and they said we would receive the part in 3 weeks. It has now been 5 1/2 months and no part. When we called again, they said the part was not in stock. We requested a refund and they said we had to wait on the back-order. Thank goodness for Walmart! We called our store and told our story. We have a new blender now and it is not a Black & Decker. I would not recommend Black & Decker to anyone. They provided no customer service, nor were they honoring the warranty in a timely fashion (waiting 6 months without resolution.) Walmart provided the help we needed.
