I have been using the mainstay pots for three years now. In my opinion they are the best invention since sliced bread. Due to it's design, it's vitually impossible to over water your plants. I currently have 120 pots in use connected to a drip system on a raised garden. I use organic potting soil which holds the water better than soil from the ground. I'm growing chilie peppers, bell peppers, egg plant, tomatoes, cucumbers and a few herbs with great success. What of the unique advatages of the pot is an extended growing season. You can start earlier and last longer than growing in mother earth. The reason being as we all know if you plant to early in soil you stand a good chance of losing plants due to low soil temperture. I was recently featured in a local magazine about our garden. Go to mytrafficmag.com to learn more about my experiences with the pot.
