Don't laugh but I'm a 36 E (all natural) and this is the FIRST and only bra that fits me perfect! I mean, like on the commercial bigger girls need to wear two for the hold, but I like the layered look anyway so this gets me the look I want without getting overheated or looking fat! I love - love - love this bra!
Shop Your Top NOT your bra size with this one
THe Ahh bra has spandex so it really stretches. I am a 40 DD and wear a women's large tee shirt. Large it is for the right fit. If you are 3X you could get a 2X or even a 1X if that is the size shirt you wear. Take into account if you have big upper arms. My arms can go in a large woman's shirt. But, this was for someone else I bought as a nursing bra. I do have a lot of Rhonda Shear bras though and they are really great. THe Ahh bra has separate cups so if one breast is bigger it is ok and you do not have the Uni-bra thing going on like with the eyebrow. You stay seperate and THAT is the support you get plus of course, it would be a great Nursing bra which is why I got it for a friend of mine. Whether her milk is in or out the spandex in the bra will size to her breast. What a GREAT baby shower gift! I picked NUDE so she can see any spots and wipe them off. This is a bra that will spot well with a wipe and its shape will be long-lasting. Because there is no lace you can put it in the dryer but they wash well by hand and dry within an hour if the heat is on. These are more expensive but you get what you pay for. The fabric is thick and long-wearing. I had my first 2 Rhonda bras for a year and they pretty much looked the same a year later. Only bras I wore every day. They take a good beating. I am not rough on clothes but come on 2 bras in a year? I slept in the others as well. Good deal in the long run.
I bought an XL at my local Wal-Mart, even though I wear L t-shirts, based on the measurement guide on the box. Perfect! I'm 60 and large (42 D) but not saggy. True, there is some bounce, but since I don't run often it's no big deal. Also some roll, but usually one adjustment per day is enough. I can stretch the Ahh bra to fit and cover what and where I want, and it stays where I put it, unlike my old bras. Comfort is key. The next time I went to Wal-Mart I bought 3 more! I do physical work outdoors on our mini-ranch and can forget I'm even wearing a bra with this. It's great! All my Ahh bras are in the laundry right now, and I'm wearing one of my old non-stretch bras, which now feels horrible compared to the Ahh bra. My old bras dug deep ruts in my shoulders and often caused back, side, or stomach aches, pinched, or the straps slipped down. Not the Ahh bra! No hooks to catch and rip other delicates in the laundry. No out-of-adjustment strap lengths after each washing. It may not be right for everyone, but definitely worth a try!
I could sleep in this bra!
Usually, 5 minutes after I get home, before I do anything, except put the dogs out, I remove my bra and my shoes. Comfort means a lot to me. The bras I wear cost upwards of $80. The ahh bra is so comfortable I could sleep in it. I recommend this highly to anyone who feels that their bra was a torture tool designed by men to keep women at home and bra-less. Just kidding but really this is a wonderful development that I hope will lead to more comfortable options. My one criticism is that the bra does not control bounce as well as I'd like. Not surprising since I am a D cup and not 20, 30 or 40 anymore. I hope that will get better in the future. It can't really be compared to an $80 bra for support and shaping and bounce control but, for the money, it is well worth buying one for $20 and trying it.
My wife was skeptical at first but...
after she wore the bra for several hours ~ she really liked it and now we have one for every day of the week + 1...she's become a believer in the ahh bra!
I ordered the Aahbra after watching the TV advertisement. As soon as I got it in the mail, I put it on. It is really the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. Recently I have been getting really sick of my bras because they have been poking me in my sides. This bra is sooo comfortable and lightweight that I even fell asleep in it. I never sleep in my bra. If you are looking for comfort, this is the bra for you. It does not provide great lifting support if that is what you want. It is just a nice bra for comfort. Also, most things that are ordered online are not true to size. This is. I wear a 1-X shirt and I ordered a 1-X aahbra. It fits perfectly. I'm glad Walmart carries it but I wish they had all the other colors besides beige, white and black.
Not as nice as expected...
I've been tired of my old bras and have needed a good one for a long time, wanting to try an ahh bra but sure not wanting to commit to having to buy more than one without trying it on for myself. Was glad to see Walmart offer this product so ordered it online, picked it up from the store two days later and took it home. Have only had it two days, wearing it constantly. It just does not do for me what is promised. I'm admittedly 25 pounds overweight and out of shape, but I expected it to support me better. Not so. I did buy the XL, which is the right size for me. The band under the breasts tends to roll on me. It does not hold me in on the sides like I'd hoped. It is comfortable and I do forget I have it on. Ido like the beige color. Don't know how it will hold up yet but am disappointed overall. Would I spend $19 for another one? No. I plan to check out a few more bras when I have the time to try some on. Hanes has a sports bra at Walmart that looked like it had better cup support.
Still on the Fence
I've lost weight recently, 90 lbs to be honest here! I am now at my within target weight for my height, but with that weight loss came a lot of sag! And I am having a hard time finding a bra size now. I was a 44 DD for a long time. I recently bought a padded t-shirt bra at Wal-Mart in a 40DD which I am OK with but it as a lot of space in the top area, I lost all my top fat, haha, band size 38 is a great fit for me around, but all the cups sizes in a 38 smooch me in or squeeze out the bottom! So anyway, I saw the infomercial the other night for this bra, then saw them at Wal-Mart the next night! I love the idea of just going with my shirt size instead of a number and cup size! I bought a large, I love the feel of it and love that it helps with smoothing out back rolls and is high up on the sides (which come up just below where the armpit begins, which helps out with the bulge that come out the sides, and no hooking in the back which hurts me as I have a bulging and a herniating disk in those areas. I can sit back with no discomfort, sleep also! It's not as much definition as I would like for a day or night out, and I think it makes the "girls" look smaller, the "girls" are squeezed in the "cups"! Also the large on me tends to ride up in the back and I'm back to pulling down the back all the time and pulling the straps back to get the front to go up! Maybe I need a x-large? So I may be returning to try the x-large to see if it makes a difference, if not back to the large, because it is very comfortable to wear, and it is way better then wearing a sports bra for around the house , and I could also go out in this in a last minute situation, having 2 teens does that, without feeling like I can't stop somewhere and get out because I'm self conscience of the, smooched down to practically nothing, uni-"girls" look a sports bra does. I don't see how on the infomercial the women wear them as a camisole because of the v shape in front is low, at least on me. I wish it they had white! I can't see buying another one at that price even though 2 may give me more support.
My first Ahhh Bra...
I saw the ads on TV and watched the infomercial and I knew there was no way this bra could do all the things they said, especially on women who have more to cover. They say it will not roll, wrong. They say it supports, wrong. They say you can wear it anywhere, even work, wrong. The bra is too flimzy, it rolls, and I would not dare wear it to work. I wore it to a christmas dinner last week and was so embarrassed and worried about what people would think of my outfit where the bra was obviously not supportive. I am a D cup and purchased a large and x-large size just to be sure of the fit. I kept the xl and returned the large one, but, for $20.00 a bra this bra is no where worth that kind of money.
Not for me
I certainly did not like this bra. It is not true to size and it has not support. It rolls up in front and is not comfortable to me. Makes me look funny in front. May be good for sport bra but that is all it is good for. That is not what I am looking for.
Not what I expected
I returned the bra because the band was too snug and it rolled up constantly. A larger size would have been too loose in the top. The fabric was very comfortable. I was just looking for a comfortable at-home bra and was not expecting it to have a lot of support. If the band had been an inch larger it would have been just what I was looking for.
I LOVE IT!
The first time I purchased the Ah Bra I didn't like it but I discovered it's because I did not purchase the right size. I tried it again buying 1 size large (XL) and I love it! It doesn't bind or pinch and gives me just enough lift. It also comes with a thin pad so there's no embarrassing moments when it's cold outside, if you catch my drift! I have been searching for a long time for a bra that I can actually stand to wear all day and now my search is over. I plan to get rid of my $60 bras and wear only this one.
Not much support
Yes this bra is very comfortable but doesnt really support. Im only a large B size and bra doesnt really support my boo#@! no better and even less then cheaper sport bras.
Comfortable to wear.
I like the comfort of the Ahh bra, but was somewhat disappointed in the lack of support. There is to much movement when your're walking. It's great to wear around the house, but I'm not comfortable wearing it away from home.
More Ack than Ahh
This bra felt good initially, but it rolled up and bound under the bustline. Cups were ok, but the band underneath needs work. It rolled more than I do. Threw it away.
No support, thin material
I bought this for a disabled person that needed a bra without hooks. Although it may be comfortable, the material is thin and does not have any support. Overpriced.
I purchased this bra in California and it came with two, one black and one beige..My only complaint is that the band rolls up no matter what you do. It is comfy and supports better than my last bra.
Very comfortable, but unfortunately has no padding.
Very copfortable, great buy
Just purchased this bra from my local WalMart store for 9.99. This is absolutely the most comfortable bra I have - love the fit and support for everyday wear. I've tried so any different brands of bras trying to find the one that fits just right AND that will offer the support I need, and had no luck until this. I wish there was a bit of separation in the middle to help cut down on sweating in the summer time, but for 9.99, it really is well worth the price. I would definitely recommend it.
PERFECT for everyday & not 4sports.
Great bra for everyday, most comfortable bra you'll ever wear. NOT INTENDED TO BE A SPORTS BRA, it's your everyday comforable and supportive bra.
