I have purchased several of the Take-n-Play sets for my grandchildren. They love them. This one folds up easily, connects to other pieces of the set and provides hours of enjoyment. I like the fact that there are no batteries, just 'kid power' and imagination.

We bought this for one son and he enjoyed playing with it. However, his brother who is 19 months younger plays with everyday even though the boys have a full size train table. Our little guy loves everything Thomas. He carries around a travel set when we go to doctor's offices - avoiding the disease-filled toys - or while running errands. He likes that this set connects to the other sets with easy and minimal work. He also likes that when the wooden set is taken apart, usually by his older brother, that this set and the other travel sets are always ready to play in one easy piece.

Thomas Take Along Tidmouth Tunnel

I have bought today Take Along Tidmouth Tunnel and it is a complete disappointment as once the track of the tunnel is connected to other tracks and an engine gets onto the tunnel track there is no way out except to back th engine out of there. The engine will just drive in circles otherwise. my little boy was so sorry he couldnt get thomas and his other engines out. i am wondering if it is done that way because the designers have made a mistake or is it on purpose? I will definitely try to take i back (not sure if possible as i have not preserved the box).
