The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins is a novel written for young adults. I can certainly see why the novel was such a hit. The novel struck many themes like: survival, love, work, poverty and many more. It was easy and quick to read and it was full of action which made the novel so exciting. The constant suspense that goes on in the novel makes the reader to turn page after page. What I liked about the book was that the protagonist was a girl that carried a bow and arrow. I recommend this book to people who have an open mind to what the world could come to. I mean this book really puts one to think on how crazy it'll get if the world were to try surviving in a world like in the Hunger Games. I think that this book should be taught in schools rather than those old boring books that no one really cares about. The Hunger Games will make students enjoy what they are being taught. I say this because its a book that is worth your time. To be honest, ill say that the first two chapters are "boring" (not full of action), but from there on the book keeps on getting better and it causes the reader to keep reading without realizing that one is all into it.
