With the care that was taken with the original Nightmare on Elm Street on Blu Ray , I was excited to hear about Nightmare's 2 and 3 coming to blu ray. When I recieved the Blu ray I was shocked to see that they put them both on one Blu Ray instead of two. Although the price was great I had diminished hopes because they were on one disc. First the art work : Very cheap looking cover (looks like a really bad cut and paste cover and they didn't even include a picture of the "Elm Street house" - It's some big obscure house that's not even in the movies). The beginning movie menu is lacking ( they even included a picture of Freddy from Freddy vs Jason which is obvious and does not make any sense since they had tons of pictures to choose from from promotional shots for nightmare 3. The audio sounded crisp and clear and the picture was more detailed than DVD but now the negative on the video . The video could have been 100 times better. compression artifacts ,some blurry scenes and pure clarity is lacking. Final Thoughts :These movies deserved seperate discs and more time in quality and it's sad that they have now just become one of those "get it out on blu ray to cash in" blu ray titles rather than a celebration of the biggest icons in horror history.
most disgusting, horrible, gory, nasty word movie in quite sometime. was a gift yet was given back for another less graphic and nasty word scary movie.
I already own the first Nightmare on Elm Street on Blu Ray(not the remake which totally had me lost), Now i own the second and third! Soon to have all the rest! Thanks Walmart! for having the values you do! These movies are way better in bluray form! Go get these before Freddy comes for you~..............
