This is a good splitter, with a range from 5 - 2500 MHz. I've previewed the rest on Walmart.com, I've shopped on Amazon, and on eBay. This is the only splitter I've seen with a 2495 MHz range. This is important to minimize the potential of interference; the greater the range, the better. I plan to run my cable from the wall, through a surge protector, and then split it between cable modem and television [as the surge protector only has one coaxial in and out]. A surge through the cable lines can knock out your expensive equipment just as easily as a surge through the power lines.
