Losing my adult son last year was almost too much for me to handle. Caring for my adult daughter through this loss of her brother is what got me through it. I recently employed a therapist to help my daughter and she brought out a copy of this book. She left it behind by mistake one day and I took the opportunity to read it. I loved it. I decided I would buy a few copies to give to others when they have to go through what we have been through. This book is good for all ages. Easy to understand and the graphics are excellent. Thanks so much.
For anyone who has suffered any type of loss, or knows someone who has, I highly recommend this book. It is beautifully illustrated and compassionately written.
Even though this appears to be a children's book, it actually gives adults helpful advice on how to manage loss and grief. I recommend it for everyone who experiences loss.
This book is an excellent resource for children, through about fourth or fifth grade. It helps to expains things and also offers several website resources in the back.
Purchased this to share with my friend and help her get through her illness
This book is a great way to share with someone who has suffered a loss - the story is sweet and poignant
