I purchased this TV mid April. By the end of August the sound had completely gone out on the tv, leaving me with an incessant, high-pitched, buzzing sound. Vizio said the problem could be fixed with a "firm-ware" update. They would send me a device that I would plug into the USB. This, I was assured, would fix the problem. 18 days later I finally received the part. Followed this directions exactly and ... NO sound! Called Vizio, informed them of the failed repair, because I was told that if this repair attempt failed they would replace the TV. Well, now Vizio wants to send out a repair tech. This, I'm told will take 5-7 business days. I'm now going on the 4th Week of not being able to use my 4 month old tv. The picture is nice, but save yourself the trouble and purchase a tv that you can enjoy viewing AND listening to.
