good for fishing of the shores landed multiple 24 - 36 inch drums on this line with out a single break and no leaders. I used the 20 lbs and get great cast ability and doesn't snap. the line is light and tough enough to feel the fish taking the bait. never again will I overpay for braided line which sawed my first guide hole on my ugly stick. It goes as far if not farther, it goes where you want, it and it doesn't tangle..A+++
exceptionally strong, doesn't stretch, wicked color
works perfect, fish can't see it
I have been using cajun red line for about 15yrs now and with the exception of using braid i exclusively use cajun red anymore. I have it on my salmon rod in 30# and have brought in 30# chinooks without issue using as main line and leader. It disappears in water and can easily be seen against many backdrops. I live in PNW on columbia so many fishing ops available from rainbow in small creeks to chinook, sturgeon, steelhead, coho in the big rivers. I have brought in a few sturgeon on 17# mainline with minimal stretch and have yet to loose a fish due to line breakage even after 2 seasons of heavy use. This line flat out holds up....
