This line preformed well. I was fishing bass on the beds with plenty of wood around. Not one came off. Why pay more for other braids? I have already bought more in all lbs tests.
I mend my jeans. A stitch in time saves nine. The thread they sell for machines is flimsy and weak. My torn blue jeans pop their stitches. With this twine as thread, the repairs should last a lot longer. the braid is the same diameter as coarse thread.
As a fisherman, with braided thread, he or she can use a lighter line then monofiliment and get away with it. I have caught twenty pound barracuda on ten pound braid. Tying a knot is only a little harder because the diameter is much less then equivalent weight mono. The only downside to spectra braid is the fact that taught twine fish on wears out the ceramic line guides on the fishing pole rapidly where mono does not. A great bargain for spectra thread, other are thirty percent higher.
very goop fishing line dont break when you have a big fish on the hook
I fish in heavy cover and kept snapping mono line. No more problems with the braided line. This line is smaller in diameter than comparable Spiderwire, and cheaper too.
Just as good as power-pro...1/2 the price. I can't tell the difference. May as well save the money.
If you compare the diameter of Zebco Omniflex Braid to other premium lines you will be disappointed. The diameter to line rating is very high. In other words, the actual diameter of this line is larger when compared to other manufacturers comparable lbs. test ratings. For example, Zebco Omniflex's 10lbs test braid is as big as Sunline SX-1's 20lbs test. All you have to do to overcome this is to fish it(omniflex braid) as you would any other brands 20lbs test braid and you'll love it! This line does not have much of a coating and therefore it's very limp and pliable right out of the box. When you run it between your finger nails, you'll notice that it has that serrated blade feel which is great for slicing through vegetation when fishing the thick stuff. Non braided superlines such as Fireline and Nanofil feels smoother but they will not cut through vegetation as good as braided lines. Don't let the name or price fool you, this is awesome stuff for the money. I just wish Walmart would offer the 20lbs test for online purchase. It just doesn't make any sense to me why they only offer the 10,30, and 50 pound test for online purchase.
This is great line but get it now because I think they are going to stop selling this Omniflex Braid
