My sons new favorite past time!
Super easy to use, fun to play and good wholesome fun for all ages! Perfect way to get the kiddos outside and the acorns off the deck!
61 yr.old man mire than a toy.
I have always wanted one of these. This shots bolts and rocks. 61 and my first bought slingshot for my birthday.
This is a great slingshot for the price! I got it for my 11 year old to practice target shooting, but its great for people of all ages. It is made of sturdy materials and seems like is should stand the yet if time. Very happy with this purchase!
Lots of fun!
I think for ages 10 and above or so. My husband rigged up a series of targets - tennis balls, an old frying pan and other kitchen stuff - hanging from a frame of PVC pipe (although a tree branch would do if you have the right one). We used the BB gun pellets to shoot.
Great little slingshot
I got this as a gift for a family member and they absolutely love it. Very easy to use and great aim.
Nice sling but rubber bands brake prematurely.
a bit short
I would recommend this item to a young person, or someone with short arms, it doesn't draw back far enough for me to feel comfortable with it. It does shoot pretty hard, I'd just like to be able to draw it back a little further.
Pouch is too small to hold a pebble large enough for what we want.
Bands ripped too easily
I shot off about 50 shots in a day and the bands ripped. I fixed it by cutting out the area in which the band ripped and made them both the same size and after about another 10 shots the rubber ripped in another spot up the band. Dont buy this slingshot. Regarded as one of the best by some, I think its one of the worst.
Do not buy
Broke the first time used, returned for money back.
Live in the woods. My son 13 love to target practice. Great for him.
This thing is awesome. Got one each for me and the kids. Works great.
People who never thought of having a slingshot want one after seeing my Daisy Model B52. Hi-quality like you would expect from Daisy at a giveaway price. Buy 2ea and give one to a friend.
It is a good unit. I'm still not very proficient.
My husband and I got one of these to play around with. We haven't used one in 25 years. We both enjoyed the arm brace. It helped both of us aim better.
i love this slingshot it goes far (to me) its durable well it hasnt broke yet i think you should go buy one you will prob be real impressed i keep using mine it is sooo much fun sometimes i use airsoft pellets to shoot so it wont break anything im glad i bought it but if you dont take my word for it go out and bu one!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This slingshot is awesome! I've never used one before and for the price I couldn't beat it. Just bought it today and tried it out for about 20 minutes. I just used gravel and hit the 3"x3" target several times from 15 paces away and was almost always close. It's a lot easier to shoot and "aim" than I expected. Would definitely recommend. I bought it with the intention of getting good enough to shoot squirrels and I think that is definitely going to happen.
Best Slingshot for the money
Since they were cheap, I bought both the Daisy B52 and the Barneett Black Widow. The Daisy is by far the superior sling shot. The Barnett is cheaply made. The plastic part of the arm brace on the Barnett kept falling off (I had to super glue it) and the leather pouch broke within the first 10 shots (I replaced it with Daisy bands and sling). I'll never buy another Barnett Slingshot. The Daisy actually shoots farther down range than the Barnett did as well. So for $2.00 less you are getting a far better sling shot by purchasing the Daisy B52!!! Happy shooting!!!
I bought this for my son, and within 2 days, the bands began to split and pull apart. Now, as far as the slingshot goes, it's pretty well made, and has held together with no problems at all. The bands aren't that great, and I would recommend getting a different heavy duty band from another maker, that will fit the B52. I would recommend this for those that want a good product, as it is comparable to other higher end sling shots, but again, I can't stress enough that the bands are worthless. We just went to Walmart today and purchased a replacement band so my son could play with it again. The band is only $3.50, but you get what you pay for. It was also harder than heck to get the bands on the sling shot. We just about tore our fingers up trying to get them all the way on where they belong. We gave up and left them where we could get them. Hopefully, that will be good enough. Hope this helps.
Easy to use..
I bought my first quality slingshot today, and to say the least, it was very fun and easy to use. I guess, you'll just have to get used to the cheek and arm coordination. With this slingshot, I'd noticed that around 10 to 15 paces, I was a sharpshooter. Anything farther than that, I would need a boulder to hit my target. =) I gave this item 4 out of 5 stars because this slingshot was not very comfortable to use. But, I will just have to get use to it. All-in-all, great little start up slingshot.
