Can't go wrong with ramen! It's so cheap, great to keep for a little emergency food storage and we love finding new ways to cook with it! It's great for Chinese Chicken Salad, stir fry, add an egg and peas or some peanut butter... so many options and you literally can't beat the price!
Best emergency supply
This is excellent way to stock up for emergency after a weather storm and now during covid19 crisis I decided to stack up on emergency supplies this was so most inexpensive long lasting products I could buy. You could consume 6 packs a day 2 in morning, 2 lunch and 2 at dinner for emergency plus a can of fruit and be good for a day! That is less than $3 a day!
Cooks in 2-3 minutes & is tasty
Yummy college food for poor students! Just add water. This is the cheapest food you can buy (per filling meal) at 18-20 cents a meal, & it tastes good! It cooks up in a microwave in 2-3 minutes, or on the stove or fire 2 minutes after the water comes to a boil. The secret is the noodles are very thin so cook up fast. Unlike a lot of soups that are mostly water & salty flavored powder, you get plenty of noodles per serving with this. Lightweight for camping & hiking trips. I'm not in college anymore but still like this for a quick hot meal or snack. The Beef flavor taste the best to me, but the chicken & oriental flavors taste good too. The recipes are endless. You can eat it as is, but is great if you add stuff to it too. Try adding cheap tomato juice or vegetable cocktail to it, & it's almost like spaghetti. Add your own spices, or a little more salt. Add meat... any kind, fish... like canned tuna or salmon. Add milk to make it richer. A little flour & salt to make it thicker & stretch it more for a bigger meal. Add an egg & water, stir up, & cook it. Add a little butter or margarine... or a splash of lemon (my favorite), yum! A cheap food that can be made amazing with a little imagination.
Still a saver
As many I have enjoyed ramen noodles for years and they still do the trick. The different ways to kick up these noodles are endless. My favorite? Brick form in a ceramic bowl with black pepper, cumin, and the seasoning packet. Sometimes worsrtecschire (?) sauce splashes and/or Mexican salsa. Small strips of steak set this off too. Nuked 5 minutes on high. After they are done I add a little more water to have more broth.
Why is something so good almost always have to be not great for you. Dont care Ill still sneak them from time to time for lunch
Good cheap eats!
I love this for a good quick lunch. To me it's great comfort food. Takes just a few minutes to make and it fills me up. I like to add hot chili sauce to zip things up a bit.
Such A Deal
Saltier than I remember & that's before adding the very salty flavoring. But, wow almost something for nothing, 12+ meals for under $3. I might send a bunch to Manila.
The Best Ones!
I'm a family of 6, My kiddos love these noodles.
This is a good value and a good taste. I can feed my husband and I 6 meals for less than 10.00 dollars a meal by adding a protein and a salad and dinner roll for a balanced meal. The noodles themselves are only about 20 cents each. Great Value good food!!
Always a favorite with the kids
Great taste, cheap price.
Cheapest price around @ $2.17 per dozen Beef Soups. My local Redners grocery store charges more than $1.50 more. Excellent taste.
Great addition to any type of meal.
The best brand for ramen noodles. Tastes better than other brands
Good price for a quick cheap meal
Kids & summer
This is a quick easy meal during the summer to keep from getting your house hot. Remember to use wisely. High in sodium,
Easy to make
Good easy to make, my kid of 10 years makes this with ease
Not good for ya but cheap when u on a tight budget
Too much sodium, I love it but have high blood pressure and my doctor said no
I love this noodles. I like beef flavor most.
I don't use the flavor packet as it contains MSG (monosodium glutamate). However, the Ramen noodles are nice to keep in stock for a quick meal - just add frozen mixed vegetables, or tomatoes, & hot broth.
