Long story short, we purchased the 22' ultraframe pool in June and about a month later discovered a tiny pinprick hole in the floor, by the seam that binds it to the wall piece. The next day, it was a much bigger tear, about the size of my fingernail. We have an RV that had some roof leaks, and used a product called eternabond to seal the roof. Eternabond is a heavy duty and VERY sticky rubber sealant on a roll like duct tape. It's applicable in wet locations and the eternabond could be applied without draining the pool. It's available on Amazon for about $50 for a 4"x50' roll. I've applied it on several tears in our now obviously defective liner and each patch has held superbly. If you don't want to be bothered with taking the pool apart and sending it back to intex or Wal-Mart, and don't mind the patches, I highly recommend this product. I also highly recommend purchasing the roller that's used for pressing the tape into the leak, as it creates a much better seal than just rubbing it with your hand. Being a linoleum installer, I have a few of these rollers and have dedicated one for my "patch box" along with a utility knife and the roll of tape. Hopefully this helps someone from pulling their hair out and saves the rest of your summer!
