This is a box of jumbo dinosaurs. The box says 3+ years old,but I believe that even older kids would like these. You could make them some sort of habitat, using rocks, sand or gravel. Even soil. You could use a shallow bowl of water for a water hole. Put some kind of ground cover around the bowl to hide the edges. You could use some type of plants, either
artificial or real plants. Even some types of small house plants would make good prehistoric trees. Set around in small pots around the rocks and gravel, a kid could image all kinds of adventures with dinosaurs. Maybe use a few bigger rocks as boulders and hills. Each dinosaur has lots of detail like creases in the skin like real creatures probably had . The Triceratops has texture to mimic scales on their skin. Also he has horns around his head and on his face. The Stegosaurus has pointed plates going down its neck, back and tail. The plates aren't sharp. He has wrinkles in his skin ,and some bumps that are scales. The Raptor has strips on its back with textured 'skin' Also he has feet that look like chicken feet with 3 toed paws. I think it would have been a bit better if they had made a textured Raptor, that looked like it had feathers. The Tyrannosaurus Rex has scally ,textured skin. It also gives a pretty good idea of what the contours and body structure might have looked like. The Brachiosaurus has groves and wrinkled textured skin like they might have had.To clean them, Use a cloth with antibacterial soap. Do not put them in the dish washer, as they will get water on the inside. I would buy these for any kid that loves dinosaurs.
