The transmission appeared to need a rebuild, harsh, slamming shifts, slippage, which would have been extremely expensive. Decided to flush the transmission through the cooler return line, two quarts out, two new in, after eleven quarts, and an added transmission oil cooler, the transmission is shifting like it should. Maxlife ATF meets the factory requirements for the car, and is a reasonable price compared to the factory Volvo ATF.
