I bought this clock to catch someone bumping my lock and burglarizing the place. Here are the reasons I returned it.
It required a TV to set up and comes with a short RCA cable of some sort.
A longer version was not available at common electronic stores.
The documentation does not tell you the factory defaults.
Tech support was a 30 minute hold to 800# then the call was cancelled. Wastes your minutes.
Odd Windows media video file format cannot be read on the Mac without special downloaders. Performance:
It requires a lot of light on the subject you want to film.
There is no good color.
Color is terrible mud brown under incandescent or washed out nearly black and white.
Walmart advertises the item PHOTO instead of the box so the thief recognized the clock.
It filmed only a black blob back of the head cause they ducked. The following is true, but not exactly a "PRO".
The clock looks like the photo on the Walmart web page.
The SD card is well hidden by a panel that requires a hex tool (provided). Save your money and go to another spy site and buy a DVD case or higher up wall clock for the same. RETURNED the clock for a refund due to the difficulties. Why can't I use my own nickname if I am logged in as myself?
