Headlights look new!
Awesome. Headlights look like new. Very easy to complete. Great directions. Viewed YouTube videos as well.
This product is amazing. My daughter’s 12 year old Volvo had horribly oxidized and discolored headlights. After using this kit, the headlights look brand new.
Good product for restore headlights
It worked very well. I don't know how much time will be long but if your headlights blurry or foggy you can use this product. P.s: Before to start to job, mask around of headlight for to protect car's body.
Worked Fantastic! I did two cars since I had the kit out. First time I've used it so the first car took about 40 minutes from set up to end. The second car I had both headlights done in about 20 minutes. Don't think too much, I just sprayed water while using first sanding pad MAYBE 5 minutes max going vertical, then used the other another 5 going horizontal. Sprayed off with glass cleaner (it will still look hazy), then buffed it with the plasticX maybe 3-4 min, wiped and repeated. Sprayed some glass cleaner and wiped off. Then applied the last bottle with the foam applicator by just wiping on left to right and Bam! All done and looking brand new. The only part of the old 02 Corolla that looks good is these headlights!
Excellent results! Easy to use!
I was having stress a out doing this but once I got started it was super simple and did a fantastic job. Took me a out an hour for 4 headlamps and I still have product leftover! The curing takes 24 hours of clean dry sitting in the shade so it's on the garage till tomorrow.
Works very well
My headlights weren’t too bad but I needed to get it done before it had gotten worse. The kit included convenient tools to restore headlights. I am highly satisfied and would recommend.
This really works!
I have a 2006 Toyota Avalon with 205,000 miles on it. Being on the road so much, the headlights, especially the left, had some sand blasting and UV damage. I first started using Meguiars in the 1960s for a motorcycle windshield, so I trusted the brand. I read through the directions a couple of times to make sure I understood and jumped right in. I masked off the headlights, then started with the 1000 grit disc. I abraided the light evenly from right to left, keeping the disc wet with water. When I saw that the headlight was even, I wiped it off with a microfiber cloth. Then I repeated with the 3000 grit disc moving up and down while keeping the disc wet. Next, I buffed out the headlight with the buffing cream and thick pad. That's when the work really showed. After I buffed the headlight out, I cleaned it with Windex. Then, I applied the clear coat, which was sticky after about 30 seconds and let it dry. Though there are some small cracks and few pits, the lights look fabulous!
It works! Just got to put in time.
2008 Honda CRV. Runs and paint looks great except my headlights. Darn headlights they all yellow in time. Wish they were made of glass. At first I wasn't so sure about this product, but for $20 it couldn't get any yellower if I mess up. New light cover cost $180-$200 each at a part store....crazy. For $20 bucks it was well worth it, minus my time. I spent about 2 hours per headlight, so total of 4 hours plus some cold ones during nice weather weekend. Grind well with the first pad while adding water from a hose. Grind well with the second pad while adding water from a hose. Polish, polish, and polish well. Next add clear coat one time only. Wet the sponge with clear coat and start from top to bottom in one long motion. It will dry and harden with no streaks. Remember one even coat only (the most important part). Take a look, looks like new again. Wish I could add more pics just to show the progress. Good luck.
I used this for the first time after watching a few videos on this product after I used it was pretty amazed at what it had done to my 15 year old headlights! But the last protective coat was trash! If you buy this product do not use the protective coating!
Performs as claimed. Great product!
Used the stand alone product that kinda worked, was sceptical. This product and process was simple and worked very well. One headlight was new when the car was purchased, one was original. Now after treatment, it is hard to tell which is which. I highly recommend this product, for the price it's a great deal!
This is the bomb
This worked wonders on my headlights, and it was so quick and easy. Don't be intimidated, this really doesn't take mechanical know-how. Meguiar's worked SO much better than the one-step cream treatment that you rub on your headlights. There is no comparison.
It really works!
Yes, it really worked. I had very old looking yellow headlights that I thought would need replaced, but I decided to try out one of these kits. I followed the directions on the box, using my drill to attach the tool to. They are now very clear and not yellow. They don't look brand new, but look tons better than they did. I will use this product again when I see they are turning yellow again. It says it's supposed to last a year so that's a great value to me!
Headlight Restorer Kit
This product is excellent. I definitely recommend this product. As long as you follow the directions, you're going to love the outcome. My headlights look brand new
We were so close on buying new headlights but glad we gave this a shot! It cleared up my yellow headlights and looked almost brand new again! Only took an hour and a half doing both lights. Would highly recommend! ð¯
hog wire is heavy duty restoration kit
watch video about this on YouTube I did it myself turned out great look at the before and after pictures
With a bit of elbow grease, proper execution and patience, this product REALLY works!
Im amazed! My vehicle is 12yrs old and have never cleaned my lights, before today! (Other than the basic car wash) all i can say is WOW!!! I cannot wait to see the difference at night.
Amazing I could barely see behind the plastic lenses of my headlights, now they are clear as crystal. I was quite skepical, however they turned out amazing. I wish I had taken a before photo. I drive a 2005 Chevy Cavalier that has ALWAYS been in the sun. I highly recommend this stuff.
Worked out well for my '06 Honda Civic with clouded headlight lenses. Not like new...but much better than prior to use. Possibly might have been even better had I spent more time sanding the lenses? But, all in all...very satisfied with the product and effort required.
