I've always liked the Taste of Home cookbooks and magazines but found alot of the recipes too high in calories, fat, carbs, etc. I purchased my first Taste of Home Comfort Food Diet Cookbook last year. All the recipes my daughter and I have tried have been very tasty and healthy. I started looking for another Taste of Home cookbook with additional recipes and saw this one. I'm eager to get started. As with the first book--the recipes all look very "delicious".
This is an excellent cookbook if you want to eat healthier versions of comfort foods. I appreciate how nutritional facts are broken down so I can figure out WW points. Pictures for recipes also a big plus.
I love this book x 10. Great recipes!!! Not only do you get 416 recipes but the book also provides a lot of other healthy advice and a 6 week meal plan..The book also has a picture for almost every recipe in the book. I love when cook books have pictues!!! I have a lot of cook books many are only used once or twice and then given away but this one is definitely a keeper!!!
I have several of these comfort food diet cook books. This one is a little more above for the average cook. Alot of the recipes call for things that are not laying around the house. . .
