This is a good PS3 game with some shiny bits and some aggrevational bits.
The graphics are standard, but not equal to the best I have seen on the PS3.
The gameplay style of having an NPC to help you fight and solve puzzles has been great so far; the Majin does well when following you around, not getting stuck in random game glitches. There have been times where I mentally yell at the Majin for being slow to catch up, and then feel guilty for being mean to my strangley cute, monster partner.
The storyline has been a standard: investigate dungeon, gain power, destroy dungeon boss kinda thing as of the third dungeon in the game, but it has gotten more interesting as the game progresses, with hints about the Majin's and the main character's background not being as simple as it first appeared.
Having fun with it! And that's what good games are for.
