I practice a Filipino martial art called Pekiti Tirsia Kali. The handle and blade design reminded me of larger styles of blades, so I thought I would try it.
It feels good in the hand, has some "heft" to it, and the blade locks well.
What I don't like is the pocket clip requires the knife be carried point up. I prefer the handle be drilled and tapped so I could have the clip at the pivot end, so the point could be down in the pocket. I find it more natural to grasp the knife that way when opening; and, with the tip up (at least with this knife) I found the the "thingie" on the spine of the blade (for your thumb to open the knife) catches on your pants pocket when you draw the knife out, thus opening the blade in your pocket.
So, while overall I find it a quality knife at a good price, the clip positioning wasn't thought out.
