Best make up I've ever used
I love this power. I've been using it for some years now and I will buy nothing else as long as it's around. I always buy more than one just so I don't run out. It makes my face look so smooth and photo ready and the color blends in perfectly with my skin tone. I don't need any other makeup with it.
picture ready every time
I have been using this product for a couple of years now...over my favorite foundation...and i really love it. Photoready is the perfect name for it...every picture taken when i am wearing it comes out really great. Thank you, Revlon, for staying true to your promise. I will keep buying this powder and i hope it never becomes discontinued. :)
Love this makeup
Love how long it stays on! Looks great!
I have never tried. I thought I would give it a try
Worth the $ for the product!
Revlon products are a safe bet for the $ and I liked the coverage.
Helps photos look better
Sets makeup well. Easy to use.
Wanted this powder for ages. Its perfectly colored. Love love love!
This powder is an absolute gem. It's soft and sheer, yet sets the skin giving it a natural glow. You can use to set your cheekbones and gives the skin a subtle highlighted effect while smoothg out the skin. If you can find the right shade, this product could easily replace mineralized powders of certain well-known department store brand. Further the compact is sleek and gorgeous mimicking the design of camera. This product is lovely inside and out!
Revlon photo ready powder
The make up is great, I've used it for years, due to covid I decided to order it off-line, it arrived broken into powder, Walmart did refund the purchase.
Has the formula changed?
Ive been ising this photoready powder product for about a year. The most recent purchase of this product leaves me thinking...what's different? The newest purchase is very powdery. Lightly dabbing the brush onto it causes a large powder dusting all over the container and onto the counter. The previous ones did not. Not happy. Do you suggest I use something else? Still the issue of the difference in product texture.
Its a good powder base! will buy again
Photoready is a great light makeup. Covers really well, this is my second time getting a new compact. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I tried this on a whim and boy am I happy! Blurred my imperfections and looks as if I dont have anything on. All for 10.00? I will definately buy again.
I get complements all the time about how perfect my skin looks just because of this finishing powder. I also use the foundation and it's the only shade I have ever found that matched my skin so perfectly ( I'm a fairly pale person. ) I recommend this to anyone wanting to hide blemishes or blotchy patches. Feels like satin on your face.
I really love this Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher power. I like that they included a brush for those who may need it but I used it with my own powder brush and it worked just fine! I have never found a powder where you literally cannot see the powder on the skin, I will use this and definitely be purchasing this when I run out of the sample! The packaging is very sleek and I like that a brush is included. I also like that the product includes a mirror. I find that a lot of products do not and this makes them very inconvenient. This is what makes this product a 5 for me. I would definitely recommend this to a friend, and in fact I already have! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My new favorite translucent powder! It works perfectly under the eyes. I love how light weight this translucent powder is on the skin. It is easy to apply, lightweight, and is not cakey at all. There is some shimmer in it but it gives your skin a healthy glow. This powder has controlled my oil and has made my foundation last longer. I love that the powder is pressed and not loose too. It's so much easier to apply and isn't messy at all. It makes you look like you have "airbrushed" skin is basically any lighting! It is also shine free which is great! Revlon Photoready really outdid themselves with this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The setting powder's were just okay to me. I have it in translucent and in medium/dark. I am fairly brownskin and I have to be careful when using both these products including the medium/dark. If you apply to much over your foundation it will lighten your foundation. What I try to do is put just a little bit on a stippling brush and dusted over my foundation to finish my look. If you use too much of this product and you are brown skin or darker you will look like a ghost because your foundation will lighten up especially with the translucent powder. Once you get your technique down on how to apply it just right for you this could be a really great product. But once you've messed up you'll find yourself trying to go over it with your foundation or powder and your look will get heavy. Sometimes I even have a hard time trying to correct it that way and end up having to start over which does not make me a happy camper, so just be sure that you start off very light with this product.
If you dont have fair or pale skin I wouldn't recommend this. I have tanned skin and even the translucent powder made me look so pale. It didn't even stop my skin from looking oily it was actually worse using this product. I don't recommend it for anyone with a tanned complexion.
I'm always looking for new finishing powders and was excited to try out the Revlon PhotoReady Translucent Finisher. I normally lean towards loose powders, but I like the Translucent Finisher because it's less messy. So far, I'm liking this product and the way it makes my face matte. It gives me an air brushed finish, which is also nice. The only downside is the lasting powder. I have oily/combination skin and by the end of the work day, my face returns to being oily. It doesn't look noticeable, but I can definitely feel the difference. Other than that, I like this product and would probably purchase it in the future. Not My Best Purchase
I usually use Coty Airspun Loose Powder in Translucent, but decided to switch it up a bit. I was delighted to see the good reviews of this product and figured it'd be a good choice for setting makeup to wear in pictures, as the name is "PhotoReady" afterall. Wrong. If you have oily skin (mine is combination) the powder does not keep you matte! I notice shine within an hour of application! It is also impossible to do touch-ups because if you have dry patches, the powder clings to them and makes it very apparent. If you try applying a bit of concealer over a blemish after applying the powder, it looks like you have some sort of skin condition because the powder makes that spot look dry and flakey. I never had this problem with the Airspun powder. Also, if you have acne or noticeable pores, be prepared for them to be highlighted, not hidden. Finally, the shade translucent is very, very fair. It is a good match for me, but aside from that, never, ever buying again and will not finish use of product this time.
