Got this and some other couplers/adapters to connect all my Coleman gears to one 20-lb propane tank.. Throughout the 3-night camping trip, we only used up 1 tank ($7.00 for refill), compare to 4+ bottles for the same number of nights, half the number of people, and far less cooking/lighting.. So much cheaper! Go, tank! No more bottles..
These propane hoses are great for setting up your camp kithen. Whether you are staying a few day, or a week it makes set up easy. With the pole tree you can have a propane light and two cooking appliances connected ready to go for every meal, large or small.
need a bulk adapter to make it work on a 5 gal. propane tank. about 10 bucks.
Loved it, used it with a distribution tree and it worked great.
Hose worked. Seemed to be good quality. Happy with it.
What can I say it's a hose, and works as such. Although I am puzzled as to why the on-line price and the store price are so different. $24.88 in store, & $17.88 on-line. I used my smart phone near wallmart to check walmart .com and it showed that they wouldn't be available for in store pick up for several days, I needed it sooner than that, so I bought one at the store. When I got home, 20 miles away I checked on line again. At this point walmart.com showed that they were available for pick up the same day.
Product worked well!
Exactly what we needed and it arrive very quickly.
I picked up a Coleman hose off the shelf at my local Walmart in the camping Dept thinking it would go from the tree off the 20lb. tank to the Coleman Stove and when I finally took it out of the box it would not connect to anything. Took it back and found this one online and the ends will connect to the tree and the stove. Haven't actually tried it but it should work well.
Not much I can say. It is well constructed, the rings are easy to turn and tighten and it is nice and long. Works great when connected to the distribution tree on top of a large propane tank.
Works well with my Coleman distribution Tee and grills.
It replaces the pound bottles with a 20# tank.
$8.00 cheaper than in the store when bought online with ship to store.
hey, its a hose. It screws in and doesn't leak. Brass fittings, no plastic.
Great product. Works exactly how we wanted it to.
Haven't used it yet but it fits onto the manifold for the LP gas can.
Works great, allows use of larger, more economical bottle with smaller appliances.
Very nice hose with well defined groves on the brass. Slightly thicker hose diameter than the competition's , maybe for better gas flow. More expensive than other hoses of the same size but it's worth it for the quality....don't need anymore headaches than necessary while camping.
Works fine. Just long enough.
This hose works exactly as described. I use it with one large refillable propane tank and an ALL METAL Coleman extention pipe to connect a lantern, stove and table top Bar-B-Que. This eliminates the small propane cans that are difficult to determine how much fuel remains and end up as hazardous waste. I wish they offered a shorter 4' hose also because the 8' needs to be coiled when setting up the kitchen area. This hose has a male fitting on one end and a female fitting on the other and attaches to the standard individual liquid propane gas containers.
This is a replacement hose for the one I used for 10 years. I loved my first one. I went camping every year and used it for my camp lantern and BBQ grill. This new one is connected now on our 10 day trip on CA coast. It works great.
