Ain't No Grave is in a word, amazing. The set list includes covers by Sheryl Crow, Kris Kristofferson, Ed McCurdy, and Bob Nolan amongst others. The song "I Corinthians 15:55" is the only Cash original. From beginning to end, this is Johnny Cash at his finest. His iconic voice backed by an acoustic guitar is deeply moving. Like all the albums in Cash's American Recordings series, this sixth installment was brilliantly produced by Rick Rubin. Rubin was able to capture the very best Cash had to offer. This album is hauntingly beautiful throughout. The song "Aloha Oe" is the perfect way for the Man In Black to say goodbye. I highly recommend you buy this album.
