What's going on? These are nowhere near as bad or fragile as people are saying! In fact, they are extremely durable and sturdy. I'm a 24-year-old guy, so I'm not the most delicate person when it comes to washing dishes. Bought these around 4 months ago, along with another set in a black pattern, and I have no complaints whatsoever, especially with the price, which is a great value. The design is a lot of fun, the plates are sturdy, and they work well. People keep saying they chip and break, but I've had no problem like this at all, and I've dropped them on my floor and banged them around in the sink while cleaning them (granted, the floor is carpeted, and I didn't drop them all the way, but I've dropped them from about 2-3 feet off the ground, and no breaking or chipping). Are people throwing these around like frisbee's? That's the only explanation, because I've had no cracks, chips or breaks, and these seem like they will last me at least a few years. I've had more expensive dinnerware break far more easily than these. People need to learn to be careful. If you're careful and aren't using them as frisbee's as everyone else apparently is, then disregard the complaints about how "breakable" they allegedly are, and pick 'em up if you need some extra dishes. Good value, and if you actually take care of them, they won't break.
