I just received this sleeping bag last night, so I'll have to update the review once I've put this thing through its paces a bit. First impressions: 1. Made in the USA! Exxel products (the parent company) is basically the last US manufacturer that produces sleeping bags at this price point. Always glad to support the home team...... 2. I realize that sleeping bag dimensions are external, but there is NO WAY this thing is 84" long. It's more like 80" long externally, at best. I'm 6'7" (79"), and when I lay on top of the bag with my toes at the end, my head is right at the opening. I was a bit disappointed in this, but the bag is just long enough for me when I crawl in, so it's OK. However, if it wasn't for the fact that this bag is the only US-made XL bag I could find for less than $100, I would probably return it and buy a Teton XXL bag (90" long) instead (made in China). 3. Great materials! I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the materials given the cost of this bag. The inside is super-soft, the zipper seems VERY robust (as do the roll-up straps), and the outer material is a bit thicker than what I expected. 4. WARM! OK, in fairness, I was laying inside of a 0° bag inside my house (about 72°), so you have to figure it'd be toasty, but MAN! I was starting to sweat in about 2 minutes. Might be overkill for what I need (truck camping in the desert at about 40-60° night temps), but I'd rather have too much than too little. 5. There's a handy little pouch up by the opening, presumably to throw a cell phone or watch into. Kinda cool, I guess, and it's a feature the description failed to mention.
