I bought one of these, lit it, and barely had enough flame to do anything. I didn't try to cook on it - it was clear that either this was a defective unit, or it just doesn't get hot. So based on barely visible flame, I took it back. But another thing is that the grill is stamped steel with a non-stick coating. How long will stamped steel stand up to heat? I don't suspect this would last more than a season if it was used regularly. I haven't decided what to do next (this is the size I wanted), but I might try the Coleman to see if it's any better.
