I am a confirmed veggiephobe and I LOVE vegetables cooked in Zip'n'Steam bags. So easy, and broccoli, corn on the cob, potatoes, snow/sugar snap peas, carrots, edamame, green beans and most other vegetables turn out perfectly every time. I will say that I haven't found this to be the best method to cook high-sulpher crucifers like asparagus and Brussels sprouts (although roots like turnips and rutabagas do well). I also use the bags to pre-cook aromatics and/or slow-cooking vegetables before adding them to crockpot recipes. Not to mention tamales, Asian dumplings (dim sum etc.), and lean proteins like fish and shrimp. Great...now I'm hungry!
