I brought my wife to work on Sunday after the snow storm and the fusion with it's mismatched tires (Michelin's on the rear and Fusion's on the front) and the car was practically undriveable. Since I was already at WalMart, I decided to purchase a new set of tires before going home for safety reasons. We had purchased the car in May 2010 and had planned to replace the tires soon anyway due to the AWD and mismached tires on the car. After putting these new tires on, the 2008 Fusion went from being a safety hazard to being one of the best snow capable machines I have ever driven (even 4x4's). I spent the afternoon finding the steepest snow/ice covered hills I could find attempting to find the limit of these tires and went home disappointed that I couldn't find anything tough enough to stop these tires. I haven't had much dry road experience with them yet, but other than a little noise issue at exactly 60 MPH, they seem to be very capable tires. I'll follow up when I have some more miles on these things.
Good tires, no complaints yet. The price is terrific and the wear is good. Got the tires to help on gas.
Still judging how much they actually help.
I would definitely say buy if you are looking for an inexpensive, trustworthy brand of tire.
I have 2004 Honda Accord not once did I hear any noise & I'm big on noise. I have had the tires on my car since 08 I'm just now having to get some more & yes I will be buying the same brand. I didn’t notice anything about the fuel because gas prices are high to me any way. I have heavy foot & my car always stopped on dime in dry conditions or wet condition/snow.
