This cute. My son likes it, but it doesn't really do anything to be worth the money. I'd say buy it but buy it on sale or something. It's just to expensive for what it offers. Price point is way off
We recieved this from Grandma for my son's 1st birthday 2 weeks ago and he hasn't stopped playing with it since. There's enough variety for him to do different things, and based on the setting, doing the same thing will produce different sounds. Even my 3yr old spends a lot of time playing with it. For little kids a lot of things are just "hit or miss", but both my boys love this thing!
This was bought for my grandson's 1st birthday, but his almost 3 year old brother loves it too. They have one that is a house at their day care and love it too. It does so many things they can enjoy it for hours. It was well worth the money.
I love the barn!!! That being said, do NOT pay over the $40 price. I wanted this for my daughter for Christmas when I saw it in the Black Friday ad. It was sold out in my local store, looked for it online later, and BOOM- it wasn't $40 anymore, but around $80 plus shipping! (and then it was bundled with a big pack of batteries for an even higher price). I called area Walmarts and luckily found a store with two left in stock from Black Friday, selling for the Black Friday ad price of $40. My 9 month old LOVES this toy! (and the 8 and 10 year old siblings like it, too :) ). The barn was quick and easy to put together, the volume is adjustable for the songs/sounds, and the lights are bright. It is sturdy, as she pulls herself up to it, and it doesn't take up huge amounts of floor space. You can push it out of the way easily for storage.
got this on sale for $40! great first birthday gift!
We have the house at our child care center in the infant /crawlers room. This is the only thing they want to play with everyday. They love the door sounds, radio, door bell, etc. I couldn't pass the FARM one up for my granddaughter to have at her Nana's. I am so excited she is crawling and will have a blast playing with all of the bells and wistles this thing has. It is a must have for any parent/grandparent. And getting it for half the price was even better. Thanks Walmart and Fisher-Price for selling/making a wonderful product that will be a joy to all my grandchildren for years to come.
We bought this barn for our baby's 1st birthday. It was very simple to assemble and took no time at all!! It has SOO Many educational features, it is amazing! If your child loves lights, music, and hands on, they will love this product! Our 4 year old and 3 year old also enjoy playing with our one year old with the barn, they all have something to do and show each other! the only downfall i have was the price, i feel if is would have been about $30 cheaper it would have been more realistic, but i am happy with everyother aspect.
I would never pay the 80,00 it was priced at but when the price was cut in half to 40.00 I bought it and at 40.00 it's worth the money
I bought this for my twin 11th month old sons. They were amused by it, like the music and lights, but it definitely wasn't worth the $80. We bought the fisher price learn and play kitchen for $39 and they loved it much more. We ended up taking this back.
I bought this for my 6 month old daughter. It is true that there's a variety of things to do, but she has to find the correct button to make the toy make sound. It doesn not continously make sounds and if you don't press the button correctly you will not hear anything. She's seven months now and just uses it to pull up or plays with the shapes. It says that it teaches the alphabet, it really doesn't. And it has three shapes and it doesn't really teach about those either. Not worth the money. I wouldn't pay any more than $30
I can't really rate the product as it is a Christmas gift for my first born Grandson. His mom asked for it and I obliged. I hope that it is safe. I leave it up to her to decide. It did seem a little pricey!
I bought this play farm on a whim because it was on clearance for $39.99 at my local WalMart. Didn't even know how much it originally was but I figured I could return it if it wasn't worth it. Assembly wasn't so bad...just a lot of screws. Took about 30min. But the time, effort, and $ were all well worth it (even if I had to pay full price)! My 15mo old played for hours w/ this thing when I finally put it out for him! He loves music, and there are a lot of nice songs that this toy plays. He loves turning the dial on the "radio station" so that a new song comes on. He plants his garden, opens and shuts the door and window, turns the light on/off, and pushes eggs down the chute! He doesn't understand the concept of feeding the cow quite yet, but he loves to push the mouth up and down so "Bessie" makes a crunching sound and says, "Mooooore please!" It's been about a week now, and I don't see him losing too much interest any time soon! Great buy.
My 10 1/2 yr old daughter received this for Christmas. She and her brothers have all had a great time playing with it. We love the eggs and vegetables that come with it. As well as the fact that it has two sides with lots of buttons to push and a volume control and off button. Easy for more than 1 child to play at the same time. It is one of the favorite toys from Christmas. I was able to purchase on sale. The regular price is a little high, but overall it is a great purchase.
Bought it for my grandson and I liked it so much I bought 3 for other people and they loved them too.
My Grand Son has the house as well. he spends a lot of time with this. Very educational
I bought this laugh and learn, learning farm for my grandson for Christmas mainly because I live on a farm and the farm life is very important part of life, and I want my grandson to enjoy it starting at a very young age, so what better product than this one? Oh and yes my grandson loves it too.
my toddler loves the product. She plays with it all the time. with the different songs/music she plays with it for a long time.
My 10-month-old son has had this Laugh & Learn Farm for about a month now and he LOVES it. He plays with it every day, and I can see him liking it for a long time since there are different modes and also right now he can't do some of the activities yet. I agree with some others that it does seem overpriced- I would definitely wait for a good sale or get it used if you can. Overall, it's a great toy.
I can't believe the bad reviews this toy received! My granddaughter loved the 'home playset' that matches the 'farm' at a friends' home & her mama decided to get her the 'farm' from Santa. She absolutely loves it! She will be 2 January 31st & I think this is perfect for even this age! It is like getting 2 toys in 1 because it is 2-sided. Lots of things to keep their little minds motivated! VERY easy to assemble, too! We're getting her the 'home' to keep at our house. Yes, it IS a bit pricey, but, I consider it a steal if it keeps them busy & helps them learn! A great buy!
I bought this for my 14 month twins and love it. This has become one of their favorite toys. They enjoy all the music and barnyard noises that it makes.
